48th Annual National Tribal Judicial and Court Personnel Conference is Accepting Requests for Presentation Proposals

Conference Theme: “Tribal Justice: Building and Strengthening Relationships and Partnerships”

The National American Indian Court Judges Association (NAICJA) is soliciting requests for presentation proposals for their annual conference.  NAICJA is a Peacemaking Alliance member and focuses on strengthening tribal justice systems through education, information sharing, and advocacy. NAICJA membership includes judges, peacemakers, attorneys, professors and many more.  All proposals are due May 1, 2017, for additional details please visit NAICJA 2017 Details and Request for Proposal Forms.  The event focuses on collaboration and partnerships, tribal sovereignty, international frameworks for understanding indigenous principles and topics, and promising Indian child welfare practices and should include lots of information and sessions related to Indigenous peacemaking practices.
