NEWS: Grant Opportunities for Supporting Native Youth and Culture Available
For those interested, there are two grant opportunities available for supporting Native Youth and Culture.
The Native Youth and Culture Fund Grant Opportunity offered by the First Nations Development Instituted which is intended “to partner with tribes, Native nonprofit organizations and Native community groups working in rural and reservation-based communities and seeking ways to preserve, strengthen and/or renew Native cultures and traditions among youth”.
All applications for this grant will be due by Thursday, March 12, 2020 by 5 p.m. Mountain Time.
The Sacred Fire Foundation is also offering a grant through their Sacred Grant Program, which is intended for “Indigenous wisdom-keepers and their communities to assist them in the maintenance of traditional ways and the realization of a sustainable future rooted in Indigenous values”.
All applications for this grant will be due by Friday, March 20, 2020 by 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time. Results will be announced via email on June 19, 2020.
